From News | by Michael Nguyen, Michael Nguyen

There’s an interesting article that the MercuryNews just posted about Vietnamese American children and their test scores. The article mentions that the Vietnamese American children belong to a struggling community yet they perform as well as children of affluent communitues. But similiar to the affluent communities, there is a strong emphasis on the value of education amongst the Vietnamese American community.

Vietnamese American communities outside of San Jose can benefit from their succesful model. Through emphasis on education and affordable tutoring centers, entire communities can advance through the growth of the youth.
